Ingredients:
1 package King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12 rolls)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup sour cream
1 egg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup raspberry jam (or your favorite flavor)
Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions:
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the rolls: Cut the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet, keeping them connected.
Make the cheesecake filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, egg, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the danish: Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Spoon the raspberry jam over the cheesecake layer. Place the top halves of the rolls back on top.
Bake: Place the assembled rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheesecake filling is set.
Cool and serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your King’s Hawaiian cheesecake danish as a sweet breakfast treat or dessert!
